Last night I put my photo as the wallpaper on my husband's android. This a.m., he asked me to sharpen the image.
"Well, I really presumed a lot by putting it on your phone at all," I said.
He responded: "When it's love, it's not presumption; it's a certainty."
That's the statement that led me to write this. The certain Truth is that God loves us. How could He prove it more than sending Jesus, His only begotten Son, to live and to die for the sin of the world. He loved the world so much that He gave...!
Does not your heart sing at this Good News?
We join our hearts to respond to such love, the divine love of the Christ of Advent and Easter, the living Christ, who reigns forever! God sharpened the world's view of Him through His Son. In the artwork posted left, above, note the Cross, now golden, telling of the completed work of Christ on the rugged Cross of shame. Note the Baby carried by angels. He came to die for us and to rise again, the present and living Lord, whom artists have tried to portray, envisioning the great, eternal Gospel's truth.
From Jesus' Promises
Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid. (John 14:27)
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.(John 14: 18,19)
